Bullet Points – Keyword Optimization for Products – Amazon Product Content
Eazyppc welcomes you to the ‘Bullet Points’ lesson – you should read and familiarize yourself with the previous lessons, as Eazyppc uses terms and phrases that were explained in earlier posts.
Lessons to review before reading this one:
- (1.1) What Are Keywords
- (1.4) Types of Market Trends
- (3.2) Estimated Advertising Costs
- (5.1) Requirements for Ranking
1/ Notes Before Creating Bullet Points:
When optimizing Bullet Points, Sellers should be mindful of striking a balance between keyword stuffing and writing easy-to-read content to avoid over-stuffing keywords -> making the copy feel unnatural and choppy -> causing frustration -> losing the reader’s interest -> resulting in no purchase. In certain niches and markets, customers are very demanding — a single grammar or spelling mistake in the Bullet Points can lead to a negative Review (!).
First and foremost, Sellers should carefully read Amazon’s requirements and guidelines for Bullet Points to avoid policy violations -> which can result in the Listing being suppressed, losing indexing, and losing organic ranking positions.
2/ Data Sources for Creating Bullet Points
When creating Bullet Points, Sellers need to identify the characteristics, features, and advantages of their product and then find relevant keywords from the following sources:
- Core keyword set (prioritized by Search Volume) -> Filtered keywords that Sellers should try to integrate into their Bullet Points.
- Bullet Points of Top Seller competitors selling similar products
- Customer Reviews of Top Seller competitors selling similar products. This helps Rufus AI better understand your product and include it in product recommendation results based on customer experience.
Once relevant keywords have been filtered -> Sellers can use ChatGPT+ to assist in writing Bullet Points. When using ChatGPT+, Sellers can copy Amazon’s guidelines and requirements and feed them into ChatGPT+.
Note: Sellers can also upload the Bullet Points and Customer Reviews of Top Seller competitors into ChatGPT+ to help it learn the customer’s voice and tone.
3/ Creating Multiple Versions of Bullet Points
Additionally, Sellers can create multiple versions of their Bullet Points -> and continuously run A/B Tests on them.
4/ Updating Based on Keyword Search Volume
Sellers should also check the Search Volume of their keywords every 2–3 months -> and update with new keywords. This is important for capturing newly emerging keywords, especially Trend-based Keywords (for example, a face cream product -> can be updated with keywords related to Mother’s Day, etc.)
