The product title is a very important element when building a product Listing. The product title helps the Amazon Bot better understand your product -> index the product with the right keywords -> display your product to the right target audience. Therefore, getting the product title right determines whether your product reaches the hands of the right buyers.

First, Sellers need to be thoroughly familiar with Amazon’s mandatory requirements for titles. Pay special attention to these rules to avoid situations where the product title gets flagged by Amazon for violations, gets automatically changed, or gets suppressed -> which leads to the product losing its rank (!) as well as losing visibility. Sellers simply need to not violate these requirements.

From the core keyword set Eazyppc has guided you through, prioritized by Search Volume – Sellers use those keywords to create the product Title by connecting the keywords together. To separate keywords, Sellers can use a ‘-‘ or ‘,’.

For example, if the core keyword set includes:

  • ‘termite spray’
  • ‘termite eliminator’
  • ‘insect spray’
  • ‘insect repellent’

-> the word ‘Spray’ must not be repeated more than 2 times in a single title, as per Amazon’s rules.

In addition, Sellers should avoid changing the Title too frequently — each time it is changed, the Amazon Bot needs time to re-understand the product and re-index the keywords. However, changes are necessary when the Seller wants to add keywords that have been proven to generate revenue for the product.
